Scouting

Well, what our clients don’t usually know is all the work we have to accomplish before and after effectively shooting a wedding.
I usually spend a few days on the site of location photography before the Wedding day to scout around and prepare for plan B.

These are a few shots of my homework. Just put the B&G in the right spot and you have the story.

Enjoy.

When too much (PP) is just enough !

A Studio session

How fun to play around with lights and backdrops.

These are from a studio session back to 2007, but I though it'd be nice to post them here.

Enjoy.

Another bride by the sea

After a weeding at the Chapel at Gold Creek.

I took the family to Batemans bay for a break for the rest of the week end.

We were heading back from the beach when I saw this beautiful bride, obviously after a shooting session.

Into the sun

After a long time beeing a bokeh lover, and I still am, I am looking for a new style of photography.

Shooting into the sun requires a lot of lighting and I think this can help.

At full power, and at synch speed of the 1D3, I can pull out a f20. pretty cool huh.

Mustang Wedding

This is the second Ceremony at the same place, just after the previous post :)
Have fun:

PS: These are out of camera with no PP. Only the border has been added.

A few more

Hum...
I forgot to mention that I used two Nikon bodies for this Ceremony, and the result is quite pleasant.

I usually shoot with two Canon bodies (5D & 1D3) but use both systems.
Anyway, here are some more:
